Lil scribblers is a place where kids can learn about art and get messy in the process. Locally owned and run by teacher Taryn Pratley, Lil Scribblers holds regular age specific 'Art Jams'
Art Jams are basically a class-like environment and are developed to maintain a child's interest, encourage creativity and let children have fun - all while developing life long skills and knowledge. Each class starts with a story and some basic information sharing - my children are quite young (2 and 4) but have already learnt what primary and secondary colours are! Its lot of fun learning to mix new colours and there are enough different activities to keep even the busiest mind occupied.
Kids aged 2-5 need a parent to support them, while kids aged 6-12 can 'jam solo'. Lil Scribblers is set up so kids can attend a one off class - or sign up for a term of classes at a reduced rate. Special holiday sessions are also run regularly. Classes are capped at 10 children - sometimes less depending on ages and abilities. Call to book before you go.
