Kewarra Beach Resort Pizza Night
During the dry season Kewarra Beach Resort create delicious wood-fired pizzas down on the beach.
Head through the main reception and restaurant and walk down the path to the 'beach shack' where pizzas and drinks are being served, the DJ playing relaxed and dance tunes, and the seats and tables are on the sand.
Kids love to play in the sand, climb the coconut trees and dance on the dance floor. It is advisable to book, and if you are with the kids get there early (about 5:30) so that you can order and enjoy the last hours of sunshine. Enjoy sipping your drink and watching the kids tire themselves out completely before tucking into a gourmet wood-fired pizza.
Take a jumper or warm top for when the sun goes down, it can get chilly on the beach. I always pack the kids PJ's and change them in the car as they usually nod off on the way home after all the fun.

Clifton Beach is the first beach south of Palm Cove and has a very similar feel, with palm trees and grassy areas next to the sand. There is a lovely shaded playground and BBQ area close to the stinger net. There is ample shade under the trees at the beach and on the grassy areas. The playground and beach can both get quite sunny, however, so be sun smart here!more info
