Tanks Markets

The Tanks market day is on the last Sunday of the month from April to November. (except for the August market day, this is held on Fathers day in September and is a larger event part of the Cairns Festival called Carnival on Collins)

The Tanks market has a variety of locally created art and craft, local produce, vintage clothing, collectables and local natural health products and treatments.

There are workshops for kids to create their own artwork, and the 'youth unplugged' performances which features local live music performances.

The Tanks is a great venue to bring the kids on a Sunday morning. Small children will have to be watched of course - but the older kids will find it a really interesting venue to explore.

There is also a free art exhibition space here which can add something to your morning that other markets do not have.
