Holloways Beach Markets
Holloways Beach markets are like a step back in time to the local markets I remember as a child. They are held on the foreshore on the 2nd Sunday of the month from 8am-1pm.
There are lots of handmade goods from the locals, bric-a-brac and homemade cakes. The last time I was there I picked up and old version of the game 'Guess Who' for $2 which has provided hours of fun. You just never know what you might find.
There wasn't any fancy coffee vans or stores selling clothes from Thailand last time I was there. I felt good to have the kids there - it wasnt hectic at all. Probably the most laid back and peaceful markets in the area.
