Play Time Playgroup: facilitated in conjunction with the Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP) this playgroup provides support and early intervention for families of young children with a disability or suspected disability. Siblings are welcome. Ages 0-4 years.

Individual Support for Families: Our team consists of Early Childhood Educators; Child Health Nurses; Family Support Workers a Psychologist and a Speech Pathologist. Each group is staff by these workers, individual support is also available – phone the centre for more information.
Infant Massage: Learn the gift of nurturing touch
in a 5 week course.
ABC Music & Me: A Kindermusik program that promotes early literacy and expression in young learners aged 2-3 years. Parents and children join in together to play instruments, sing and dance to build your toddler’s confidence, self-control and early language skills.
Indy for Kindy: Kindergarten readiness program for children and their families who will be kindergarten age in 2014. ‘Indy for Kindy’ promotes learning through play and incorporates the Early Years Learning Framework.
Child Health : Child health nurses are present at most of our playgroups. You are also welcome to make an appointment to have your baby weighed or have a developmental assessment.
Parental and Community Engagement – Supporting indigenous parents and families to engage and foster connections with their children’s school/s
Toy Library: Toys and games available for a fortnight loan.
Open: Wednesday; Thursday; Friday 2:30 -4:00pm
Prep Readiness: This program is intended to develop skills essential for school readiness for children who have not had the opportunity to develop these skills. By referral only.
Incredible Years: A 9 week course that allows you to meet other parents & build on your parenting skills. You will increase your understanding of how to use play to build your relationship with your child and how to promote positive behaviour. This course will help you to enjoy parenting again.
Circle of Security: A relationship based parenting program to help parents understand their child’s emotional world and strengthen skills in observing and connecting with your child.
Marte Meo:‘On One’s Own Strengths’. The central focus to the Marte Meo programme is to help parents to identify strengths and develop skills to enhance their child’s development through constructive interaction.
Mighty Mates: A program for 5-7 year olds that builds resilience through the development of emotional regulation and social competence. Limited places.
Parents and Learning (PaL):
Home based program promoting literacy and numeracy and empowering parents as their children’s first teachers.
Saver Plus: Tips to get on top of your financial situation and earn matched savings for educational equipment as you save.

Playgroups are a way of making new friends, giving and receiving support and ideas and of course, having fun. Playgroups offer a way to support your child with socialisation and fun activities, and is a great outing.more info
